She married John Metcalfe in Fauquier County, Virginia, May 1, 1782. John was born in Fauquier County, Virginia ABT. 1760. John was the son of John Metcalfe Capt. and Sybil Farrow. John died AFT. 1855 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. From the David Wilma Web page, (http://members.aol.com/davidwilma] He enlisted in McAllister's Virginia Men, Continental Line, Fauquier Co., VA, on 27 Aug 1781 and was appointed an Ensign (Second Lieutenant). After the war he migrated with his father, other families and their slaves to Fayette County, KY. He became a prominent man and his half-brother was a Governor of Kentucky and a United States Senator. He was a member at the Transylvania Academy, KY, in 1792 as an early subscriber. He was elected Trustee of the Town in 1799 at Paris, KY. He was listed in the 1810 Census at Paris, KY, Revolutionary War Soldier; 8 in family. He was in military service on 31 Oct 1812 in Major James V. Balls Squadron, Bourbon Co., KY, under Captain William Garrard in the War of 1812. Discharged 31 Dec 1812 with frostbite. He and Gov. Thomas Metcalfe cared for Sarah Dent in her old age before 1855.

30 viii. Thomas Metcalfe was born in Fauquier County, Virginia 1783. Thomas died UNKNOWN. He married Margaret Alsup Hutchinson in Fayette County, Kentucky, 6 Apr 1809. Margaret was born in Maryland February 21, 1789. Margaret was the daughter of Archibald Hutcherson and Catherine Gouge. Margaret died 1871 in DeMossville, Kentucky, at 82 years of age.
