Sliding Door Maze Solution

Solution to the sliding door maze at www.cs.tut.fi/~zam/home/lists/maze.html.

The four digit number in the parentheseis after each step shows which doors are open after the completion of the step. The first digit corresponds to the blue door, the second the green, the third the red, and the fourth the yellow. At the beginning all number one doors are open so the state is 1111. After completing the first step you flipped the green and yellow doors so the state is 1212.

1. Flip the green and yellow doors (1212)
2. Go through the green door (1212)
3. Flip the blue door (2212)
4. Go through the red door (2212)
5. Flip the yellow door and green doors (2111)
6. Go back through the red door (2111)
7. Go through the yellow door, flipping yellow afterward (2112)
8. Go through the yellow and blue doors (2112)
9. Go through the green door (2112)
10. Flip the blue door (1112)
11. Go back through the green door (1112)
12. Go through the blue door (1112)
13. Flip the red door (1122)
14. Go back through the blue door (1122)
15. Go through the green door (1122)
16. Flip the green door (1222)
17. Go through the other green door (1222)
18. Go through the red door and you're done (1222)
